"Providing business and professional people a forum for the exchange of information, ideas and encouragement.

Skagit Women in Business offers members opportunities for growth on both a professional and personal level through monthly meetings, guest speakers, and other educational programs."

WHO WE ARE

Skagit Women in Business (SWIB) is comprised of professionals and business owners in Skagit County. The organization was chartered in 1980 to provide an informal place to promote networking, encouragement, information and idea sharing, as well as to present a forum to address business concerns and issues.

SWIB maintains the founding policy of inclusiveness and welcomes business people from all professions actively employed or seeking employment. SWIB joins annually with other local women's organizations such as Skagit Women Alliance Network (SWAN) to recognize the outstanding Business or Professional Woman of the Year in Skagit County.
